Cue Herb Alpert trumpet music (which I find funny):

Got home at 9:00pm from pasta (burrrp) dinner from my sister-in-law's house in Pasig.
I thought "Hmmm, it's too early to go to Saguijo..."
And, "Shit! I have to charge the batteries of Jesus's camera for tonight's super photo-op!"
So I figured, I'd take my time and charge the batteries while I dressed up / down for the party.
Karen said, "I'm not feeling well, so you go ahead. Tulog na lang ako."
My brain said, "Hehehehohohohehehehohoho."

Checked the time: 9:20pm; Checked the first battery: 75% charged.
I had another battery to charge and at the rate I was charging, I would be done by 10:15pm.
And in my mind: Saguijo before 11:00pm (cue lip-smacking sound).

While in my jocks, I did the Inquirer's Sodoku for the day while in bed to kill time.
Next thing I know, I woke up because my legs (and one ass-cheek) were cold.
Half-asleep, I put the second battery in the charger.
I checked the time: 12:30am. Dammit.
But my brain didn't care, it just automatically shut down and said, "Screw you, you're sleeping."

At 3:40am, Karen nudges me awake and said, "Nakatulog ka ano!"
My brain allows me to think coherently and my first thought was, "Shit!"

I SMS Alistair (no reply up to now) and Jesus who texted back:
"Wala na! But Jay Server has a party in Capone's."

Aw man.
At 4:00am, I finished the Sodoku puzzle.
Still in my jocks...

Weck-weck-weck-weck...
